“Ranch” and “dressing” are basically one word.
While there are about 8 billion salad occasions per year, there are more than 80 billion condiment occasions.
More than just a dressing.
For the HVR brand to grow, we needed the product to expand beyond salads AND the brand to stand for something beyond its products. Especially among a younger, multicultural audience who values self-expression and owning your flavor.
An original since 1954.
HVR invented ranch in 1954 — we are an original. That gave us permission to do a lot and we set out to prove that only an original life is worth living. We used traditional ranch in exciting new ways. We expanded ranch flavor beyond just a dressing with the introduction and launch of ranch seasoning, dips, and Secret Sauce.
